21^st – 22^nd June 2017, Tashkent University of Information Technology, Uzbekistan - After the ritual Welcome speeches of the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Prof. Aziza Abdurakhmanova, Coordinator of Uzbekistan NEO, Ilkhomjon Siddikov from Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Prof. Anna Tozzi, from University of L’Aquila (GREB-Project Coordinator), Dr. Massimiliano D'Innocenzo, presented the Project activities to foreign delegations attending the seminar explaining to the public the main Project data, objectives and organizational issues.

To follow, Prof. Anna Tozzi reported on comparative analysis of existed standards, approaches and know-how of engineering education and SWOT analysis of methods of training of innovative thinking and entrepreneurial skills in sphere of designing of intellectual buildings. Prof. Irina Petrova reported about analysis of over 300 interviews with stakeholders for competitive analysis of competencies and the results of a business game (held the day before) aimed to individuate the 7 most important generic and professional competencies.

After discussing the last relevant issues regarding administration, budgeting, equipment, public website, project logo and re-training of the 33 senior managers in their local institutes, the 2-day seminar ended with a visit to laboratories “Life safety, Ecology”, “Metrology, Standardization and Certification” of the Department “Power supply systems” of Samarkand branch of TUIT.
